UCP Ambassador: Cody

Cody is 12 ½ year old very active young man in 7th grade.  He attends school in the Peoria School District and attends UCP afterschool and during school breaks.  He LOVES his time at UCP, his friends and the opportunity to learn independence.  He has gained tremendous confidence in his social skills and experiencing outings with his peers.

He is a participant in Special Olympics running the 100m and doing the softball throw.  He won gold in the county meet for 100m and silver in the softball throw.  He enjoys playing computer games and Xbox and every instrument that relatives so kindly sent him over the years.  He is fun, like to tell jokes and spend time at the bookstore among other things. We are grateful for UCP and the wonderful influence they have been in his life.  He is successful in so many ways as a result of dedicated and compassionate staff.
